A&B Cymru Awards 2017

Celebrating Creative Collaboration

The search is on for the best in creative partnership as Arts & Business (A&B) Cymru launches its 24th annual awards ceremony and Hospital Innovations is proud to sponsor the Arts Award category.

The Awards encourage, acknowledge and celebrate exemplary partnerships between the private sector and the arts. The 2017 ceremony will take place on stage at Wales Millennium Centre on Friday 23 June and we are pleased to be attending the event again this year.

Speaking at the Awards launch on 20 January, A&B Cymru’s CEO, Rachel Jones said: “It is truly inspiring to be able to celebrate the support that the private sector in Wales gives to the arts, which is more important now than it has ever been. Having been involved with many innovative partnerships in the last 12 months, I very much look forward to seeing the nominations in 2017.”

Wales enjoys a global reputation for creativity and culture. This reputation is underpinned by strong cooperation between arts and the business world. At the heart of these efforts is Arts & Business Cymru, an organisation that plays a vital role in supporting the development of links between arts organisations and the private sector in Wales.

A&B Cymru’s role is to promote, enable and develop mutually beneficial partnerships between business and the arts. The team works across Wales with a range of arts professionals, from individual practitioners to flagship organisations; and the private sector from micro businesses through to multi national corporations.

A&B Cymru knows that when business and the arts work together in truly mutual partnership, both become stronger with the results benefiting our society in far reaching and tangible ways. Which is why Hospital Innovations has sponsored the Arts and Business Awards, which celebrate these partnerships, since 2008; the year Hospital Innovations was founded.
